Every April
For 26 years, on the last Saturday in April, National Rebuilding Day, RTWC has brought together hundred volunteers to improve the living conditions in homes across Washington County. This year, we are hoping to bring 300 volunteers to complete work on 20 homes for our neighbors-in-need. Projects will range from completing yard work, to painting homes, to installing ramps, to laying new floors. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome!!

Comedy Night Kick-off
On Saturday, April 25th, 2020 is the culmination of a month of repair activities and volunteer event planning. It takes so many partners and volunteers to prepare RTWC for National Rebuilding Day. RC is hosting a dinner and comedy show to kick off a long month of planning. The show is on Saturday, March 21st, and sure to be a joyful way to bring in a month of volunteering.

Become a Financial Partner
Rebuilding Day is the anchor event of RTWC’s Community Alliance Program. This is a program that deeply impacts the lives of vulnerable neighbors and volunteers and alters how we see our community. Financial partners create the foundation that RTWC builds the program around.

Spend a day Volunteering
Volunteering during National Rebuilding Day is a unique opportunity to get to know your community and meet your neighbors. We want everyone to be able to volunteer, regardless if they have a team, are a financial partner, or have extensive home repair knowledge. We have lots of opportunities including running registration, helping on projects, working with homeowners, picking up trash, and cleaning up after the event.

Apply for home repairs
RTWC is a nonprofit organization and while we cannot complete every home repair needed in Washington County, we strive to make our limited funds go as far as possible in order to serve low-income homeowners with safe and healthy repairs and modifications. All repairs are completed free-of-charge to the homeowner because we believe no one should lose their home because they cannot afford necessary repairs.
